What is NDP-VIP?
The National Doctoral Programme in Virus Infections and Pandemics (NDP-VIP) aims to advance the training and recruitment of PhD students and postdocs in virology and pandemic preparedness, by offering advanced training courses and meetings that promote scientific research and recruitment of young scientists. Who can become an NDP-VIP member?

PhD students and postdoctoral fellows may become NDP-VIP members if they are enrolled at a Swedish university/institute and if they are active in research on virology and/or pandemic preparedness. Read more here »

If you do not fulfill the criteria for membership but would like to participate in our courses and other activities, you may become an associate NDP-VIP member. Read more here »

How do I become an NDP-VIP member?
To register as a full or associate member, you must complete and submit this application form.
What does it cost to become an NDP-VIP member and to participate in courses?
There are no costs to become a member and all courses are free to attend. Co-funding is available for accommodation needed to participate in a course not given at your home university.
Will I get course credits for participating in an NDP-VIP course?

For courses established within the NDP-VIP program and for workshops/symposiums hosted by NDP-VIP, a certificate of attendance is given to a student and can be used to request approval from your examiner at your home university. The certificate represents a special syllabus and states the course content/overview, what was learned, as well as suggested credit points.

In what language are courses taught?
All courses established within NDP-VIP are taught in English.
How do I register for an NDP-VIP course?

What national and international partner universities/institutes does NDP-VIP have?

The NDP-VIP programme links the virology and pandemic preparedness research environments of nine Swedish regions to provide an advanced training programme that promotes scientific research and the recruitment of young scientists to this research area. The universities and institutes involved are found here.

In addition, NDP-VIP is linked to international research centres and networks also working in the area of virology and pandemic preparedness and these international centres may be found here.

If you want to delete your entire account from the site, you can click on the delete-button at the bottom of this page.

NOTE: THE DELETE MY ACCOUNT-OPTION IS IRREVERSIBLE. If you delete your profile you will no longer be able to view your profile, your uploaded documents or restore your account. Also, you will lose the opportunity to connect and network with fellow NDP-VIP members.
